Nigel Vickers — AKA Vic

Vic has had a passion for the outdoors and adventure sports for longer than he cares to admit.

A former lecturer and freelance instructor with a Diploma in Outdoor Education, he is a MIAS trainer and assessor and holds numerous qualifications recognised by National Governing Bodies, the most relevant of which are:

  • British Mountaineering Council  Mountain Leader
  • Mountain Ski School: Mountain Ski Leader
  • Wilderness and Expedition First Aid.

He is a self-confessed bikeaholic with an enviable stable of bikes which he has ridden and raced for many years.

Einat (pronounced AY-NAT) Shynman–Vickers
— AKA The Enduro Queen

In addition to being an experienced and qualified mountain bike instructor, Einat is fluent in three languages Hebrew, Spanish and English.

Einat also has an outdoor background and holds equestrian qualifications at the highest level.

Einat has an addiction to all things bike related. She is an elite class racer who formerly competed in an average of two a month on one of her 4 mountain bikes.

She is a well-known character on the Spanish racing scene who regularly visits the podium.

Together

Vic and Einat met in a Spanish bike shop seventeen years ago, discovered a joint love of mountain biking, set up home together, and have for the last 12 years been “new routing” in the Almanzora Valley and exploring Andalusian mountain biking meccas.

They have amassed considerable personal riding experience and local knowledge, which complements their MIAS qualifications and training, making them perfect hosts to help you get the most from your MTB break.

They both also hold Wilderness First Aid qualifications.
